    Was ther anyone better?

Saw Rory at newcastle City Hall
    A life changing gig.
His playing style influenced me so much.

Rory Gallagher - Shadow Play live.

    The power of e Trio.

He shakes hands with the audience and doesn't miss a beat, he throws his guitar down on the stage and the feedback plays the rhythm. still unbelievable.

I only knew one guitarist as good as the pair of them, that was my brother in lwa Chris.
He died a good few years ago now but he could have played both of them in to the ditch. he had such a smooth and economy of his playing. His only fault was he prefered a Telecaster and an Orange Amp. (he infected my son with his orangyness)

I'm often amazed by how many covers there are of a song, stumbled on this last night, one of many:

Brent Amaker & the Rodeo doing Pocket Calculator, by Kraftwerk.
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.

Listening to The Doors - Break on Through just ended on a "best of" compilation. Earlier I was grooving to Billy Preston and Edwin Starr. It's a 60s kind of day, I guess.

My phone glitched and started playing "This is America" over "Butterfly Wings" by Machines of Loving Grace. It wasn't half bad and I am kicking myself because my first instinct was to make it stop doing that and it did. Now I can't do it again.
