And yes, you can ask. But no, I won't tell.
    "Next book"? Great news!

I'll bet "Bad Astronomy" is not in the title.

If one guesses correctly, does she/he get a free book?

BTW....is there any chance you might be taking "the Sun is not yellow" up another notch? ["begging" icon here]

This colorful itch I am plagued with is mainly your fault. Your board renewed my astronomy affections and your book explained much of how we see the Sun. Further, your board is way too much fun not to keep advancing my radical cogitations in this matter. However, I seek scientific resolution before I embarass myself, somehow, much further. 8-[

    So, there it is!

This Book Already Has A Title

by Phil Plait, the Bad Astronomer

(sorry about the "t" deletion, milli...)

Of course, that's the long version. The short version, probably still unsuitable for magazine serialization, would be

Gems from the Bad Astronomy Bulletin Board

(especially if only certain fora were employed)

This would make a nice Babbling thread (hint). [Assumes it would not plagiarize the book title ]

Then, what is the title of the next book?

Actually, it's great to find out that there is going to be a next book.

I guess this thread is no longer a naming contest but a gambling pool. Place your bets!

I suspect the BA is starting to regret bringing up this topic in the first place...

So, uh, has the title been mentioned anywhere within this topic?

Do we even know it's about astronomy? I thought it was going to be called Bad Medicine? Or have I missed that one?

Never mind what it's called. When can we read it?

Well...if the next book already has a title, we can guess at the chapter titles.

Chapter 1: Lenin on the Shower Curtain

Chapter 2: Why you Shouldn't Believe Little Old Ladies from Wisconsin

Chapter 3: No. NASA does not pay debunkers
