I should be cleaning up my computer room, but instead I am messing around with an old computer. These are some images I did with Raydream Designer.

I must have been taking a math class when I did that one, I labeled the file "X-Y wing."

Is the first image based on the old Testor's "Mig-37"?

The X-Y wing is indeed interesting.

Yes, I came across of both an old laptop and instructions for the Mig-37. The software is an oldie but goody. The Y wing may have been a sample from the software, and I tacked on more engines and such.

Orion MPCV that I completed this week. I think I have a model of every iteration of Orion somewhere.

Thanks. I'm using Blender - very powerful but I have more than a few UI quibbles with it.

Is that a paper model? The couple times I've tried they've ended up a lot more crumply.

Playing with a combination of POV-Ray (to simulate the reflections), some scripts I wrote to automate things, a program to evaluate the result, a small supercomputer I'm admin for which has a bit of free capacity, a program I wrote for converting the result to STL and SolidWorks to combine all the elements, and my 3D printer, I'm making a series of lamps each specifically optimized for one size of painting.

    Here's the third prototype:

ETA: I notice the image has a flatness of color that makes it look like it's cut-rate CGI, but that's a photo of an actual physical object.

And another pair of wings! They say every time a bell rings, Lucas adds more wings to his fighters.

Yes, those are very good. And I am jealous, I have a new computer and a working tablet and no time to speak of to use them for art.

gzhpcu, that leaping tiger rocks, it should be a poster or an album cover.
