The greatest journey of all time, for all to see
Every mission makes our dreams reality
And our destiny begins with you and me
Through all space and time, the achievement of mankind
As we sail the sea of discovery, on heroes’ wings we fly!
Things that bug me: Posting pictures that come out sideways!

Here's wishing everyone a happy and safe Halloween.
However, if the urge to do the Monster Mash becomes overwhelming, try to keep six freaks apart and wear your environmental suit.

This is an older digital painting, but with the passing of Sean Connery it seemed like a good time to pull it out of the archives.
I grew up with the lesser Bond replacements, but did come to appreciate the actor as an film icon and emblematic of the time in which the 007 series was conceived.

My fav is the rain on the spacesuit..
I'm trying some mixed media, pen sketch with digital colors. It's loosely based on a classic sci-trope. The hero of the story does something heroic for the tribe he or she finds and receives virtually nothing for his or her efforts. Decades later, the tribe finds a gold vein and starts commemorating the hero with epic proportions and gold leaf. The hero's broken goggles have been transformed to horns, the gun is obscured in a powerful halo and the space suit has been rendered as armor. Of course, this "relic" is worth more than anything the hero has gained.

With this epidemic raging, we'll just be having a small outdoor get-together with plenty of distance. I'm sure it'll be fine.
Said somebody once a long time ago.

I want to say "nice" or "Lol", but I'm afraid it will bring on the Staypuft Marshmellow Man or something.
Do you have a website for your artwork?

I love your work, Selenite!
We, of course, had Thanksgiving on Saturday but will be doing the full course of leftovers today.

Hi Solfe. Nah, no website at present. Just think of these as a CQ exclusive for now.
Thanks, Trebuchet. I remember reading about your early Thanksgiving holiday dinner.
Our Thanksgiving this year has pretty much been distilled down into exchanging goodies on family member's door steps. Pies, casseroles, fried dough, Kind of a doleful substitute for the real thing, but it does keep the the usual family squabbles in quarantine.
I love the warmth, the humanity in your art.
"Equal Legs"
Acrylic on Canvas. 28" x 28"
This was an experiment to turn a square canvas into a series of isosceles triangles.
An isosceles triangle was defined by the Greek mathematician Euclid as any triangle with at least two equal legs. "Isos" meaning "equal" and "skelos" meaning "legs."
The art is intended to be hung on its corner, known as a Lozenge Composition.
