After having a few nice cool fall days our first dip into the 20'sF is expected by Saturday morning. That'll put an end to the remaining summer flowers, we'll miss the colors.

Looks like it will be sunny and just above freezing for the next few days.

A strange day today. It reached 39 C by 14:20 and we used our A/C for the first time since last summer. Yet by 19:30 it had dropped back to 24 C and we had turned the A/C off. It was only about 9% humidity when it was at the highest temperature and has now increased to about 48%.

Today overcast, had a quiet day. Tomorrow sunny and warm for this time of year might go in the woods and get some tips or there a couple things around the house i could do. Tuesday rain and freezing rain.

Sunny today would be nice, so I could see the transit of Mercury. I'll be very surprised if it is.

1 C, went in the woods to get some tips to make some wreaths but heard atvs further down in the woods. There is access road down there but I was wondering if they were going on ours and or the neighbors properties so started down there and didn't hear them anymore so went back home. Got the gator to go down and get the tips and some tools. Got home brought in some firewood for a few days because rain tomorrow, now some indoor stuff, after supper which looks like chicken and salad.

About -9C. Today one own social media there is someone complaining how cold it is here, he grew up but now lives in Victoria and somebody else showing off the plants growing indoors at their place of work.

We are in the middle of a hot spell. The last 2 days have been just under 38 C and today it is on the way to 39 C. Tomorrow is predicted to be about 35 C.

Well, we only got to just under 38 C yesterday but today we seem to have topped out at 40.1 C (104 F) ((Actually later reached 40.4 C just under 105 F)), after an overnight minimum of 19 C. Tomorrow is still predicted to cool down to around 29 C. But at least the humidity is still only around 16%.

Edit: It has now been reported that this is the hottest temperature ever recorded in Perth in November.

Overcast in the upper 40'sF today, a good day to rake leaves even though it was a bit breezy from the offshore storm taking shape, the poor Outer Banks may be called the Under Banks before too long.

Around 0 C and breezy with sunny breaks. This morning was up early because the alarm on the phone kept going off, took out the garbage went inside and saw the BILs truck in the field. Went down talked to hime and asked if he could help with the wood splitter and picnic table and that was done. Went down to the mailboxes and found a notice on how much the government is paying for the election (not in account yet) and then as I was getting home the garbage man were picking up the garbage. Not a bad a start to the day.

A beautiful Autumn day here, upper 50's, sunny and the yesterday's stiff breeze has calmed down. Perfect weather for raking leaves today. This is the latest I can recall for leaf fall here with Dec knocking on the door. Fall colors were late coming but are very spectacular in display. Even the old oaks trees which usually turn from green to a milk chocolate brown were in their glory this year ranging from amber to a burnt orange in colors, they gave the maples a run for their money. A rainy weekend ahead so I gotta rake the remaining leaves in the morning before it starts around noonish.
