A bit of snow overnight, but the streets are already bare due to the residual heat from the days before. I knew it was good to hold off on reinsuring the motorcycle.

Trivial stuff that bugs me: That post was supposed to be in the "watcha eatin'" thread.

On topic: Pretty decent here the past couple of days.

A brief but welcome thunder shower rolled thru and dropped 1/2" of welcome rain today, temps in 70's. It's been a bit dry here and we needed a pollen flush.

Today looks like it will be the last of our nice warm weather. It was 11C (52F) to 29C (84F) with some scattered clouds. Forecast for the next few days is rain then cooling down to max's in the mid 20'sC.

Send some of that cool this way, please. We're too warm at 88 F / 31 C. I just returned from shopping, broke a bit of a sweat between stores (parking lots). Sunny, mild breeze (12 mph).

Actually we are due for a "cool front" tomorrow; will produce gusting winds and drop the temperature to (more seasonable!) mid-70s.

No thanks on the wind. Had enough of wind growing up on the Great Plains.

I was obviously premature in my statement about lower temperatures and rain. Today was 20C (68F) to 28C (82F) with blue skies and no sign of rain. They are still predicting a chance of rain over the next few days but I will believe it when I see it.

Yesterday was absolutely lovely, by far the nicest day of the year. Today, when we (and a lot of other people) are doing this, it's miserable.

Thunderstorm passing thru now, 3"-5" of rain expected over the next 3 days or so. Temps holding in the 60'sF. Would prefer just 1" of rain for the garden, please and thank you. News is reporting a possible twister 50 miles south of here as I type.

Naturally, I had no sooner posted this than the weather cleared up. We had done five of nine houses on the kitchen tour in the morning, with the last two while it was pouring, but it was quite nice this afternoon for the last four. Tour was fun, other than some steep driveways which made our knees unhappy.
