91F with 5% humidity. Unusually pleasant for June.

Wet and cool just great to keep the heat down while unloading the truck.

Just back from a damp and gloomy Ireland to beautiful blue skies, little wind and temperatures of 7C to 23C. Unfortunately, it is winter here and we desperately need rain. Our dams are only at 29% capacity and a lot of that is from the desalination plants. There is already talk of tightening our year round water use restrictions and of the possibility of third desalination plant being built.

Damp and gloomy here, and it's not even Ireland. Downright dismal, in fact. Somewhere between fog and rain.

cloudy, started off foggy just spending a day indoors. Yesterday while working at the auction they had the heat on near full, felt good to get into the cooler rainy weather outdoors.

Hot (101 F), sunny, no clouds, no breeze, 10% humidity. Boring.

This week we'll be in humid country! Hope to see afternoon thunderheads there - mammoth, beautiful clouds.

Major storm rolled thru here last nite, no hail this time around but lost power for 5 hours. Got 1.5 inches rain with high winds. Had to up-right 2 plots of corn stalks this morning, one is almost ripe.. Humidity today = swimmingly horrible, a 4 banada day.

I recall that sort of humidity. While I'm looking forward to being in humid country this coming week, I don't want it THAT humid.

p.s.: I just returned from outdoors. There are now small cumulus clouds to N-NE, which seem poised to build.

Hot and humid, with 85 F and dew point about 73 F at 10:30 PM. Clear with excellent observing conditions. See Astronomical Observing page for details.

It got to just over 111F, 44C yesterday. And stayed there. Crows were bathing in the water dish, looking like people who really want a bath but only have one of those antique floor tubs. One foot in, the other foot in, wiggle down into the water.

When they were done I changed the water...

And assuming the Valley of the Sun is Phoenix, that's far less surprising.

Hot. Expected high 101 F. High haze. Chance of rain (won't hold my breath). Grumpy - oh wait, that's me (not the weather).

I think I owe you a problem for kind of minimizing your severe heat. It's not a trivial problem. They are talking about 120F today.

Las Vegas supposed to hit 116 F today. We're expecting 101 F (currently at 93 - which I doubt is correct). Clear, sunny.

We had thunder and rain last evening.

Rain, and a lot of it as TS Cindy approaches the Gulf Coast. Even though we are well to the north and east the circulation is drenching much of the Southeastern US. And will be for a few days.

Don't blame me. I'm a flower, not a tropical storm.

    101 F, humidity 19%, some clouds.

Storms blew through overnite but we were lucky to get just 1" of rain and bearable wind gusts. Don't need more rain from "Cindy" leftovers this weekend, we're right at average annual precip now and that's fine by me. Very Muggy today but was overcast so the heat wasn't too bad, low 80's. Pity you folks in that 100++ areas, I envy your low humidity but those daily temps must burn!

I sometimes get reminded, "But it's a DRY heat" from people who've never experienced it (only humid; I've experienced both). They don't realize I live at a high elevation, and the Sun BLISTERS the skin (or feels like it).

Yeah, that would be the "dirty" side of the system ... more wind, more rain. Fun for the whole family.

Right now we're on the west side ... the "dry" side.

Sunny with a chance of shower or thunder showers later, at least got most of the lawn done, saw a deer one to opposite corner of the field than I was.

Today is partly cloudy, temp = upper 80's with high humidity. Keeping a close eye on Cindy's path, her left leftovers may pass right over us by Saturday.

ETA : Just 2 months from today I hope that we all have clear skies from coast to coast across the USA !!!

Right now it's around 106, outside...probably around 90 or so, inside.

    Not much fun.

Some rain at last - 60 mm overnight, which is the most for a June day for 31 years. Unfortunately, we have had only 3 rainy days this June instead of an average of 15 days - this has been the hottest June recorded. Also, the rain has not moved inland so our agricultural areas are still desperately in need of rain.

I hope the extremely hot weather some of you are suffering has relented to an extent.
