It is June but here in the U.K it feels like October !
It has been windy and mid teens all week and the next few days are going to be rainy as
we are receiving the end of a storm from Spain..

Lots and lots of lovely rain. We have had more in the last week or so - 107 mm (4.2") - than we have had in the previous 5 months of this year - 75 mm (3").

Here too lots of rain. Good for my lawn (I hope it doesn't develop water related issues) and my new plants. Good for my water bill. The garden is looking very fresh green now.

Plenty of rain here too, the 2nd year in a row when my garden irrigation system is not required, so far. Last year the garden rotted out there. Just now getting past 5 days of semi-rainy weather but more is expected tonite too.

101F today, 103F yesterday. That’s not too unusual for us, though. It’s expected to drop to about 90 tomorrow, which is a lot nicer. If the delta breeze is working, it keeps the days cooler and the nights can get pretty cool. It stayed warm last night (close to 90 at 10pm). But I didn’t bother running the air conditioning until a few days ago. I was just running a fan at night to bring the cool air in the house.

The rain has gone and blue skies are back for a few days. It has got a lot colder, last night was the coldest night so far this winter at 2.2 C (36 F). The last couple of days it has only been about 8 C at 09:00 when I go for my daily bicycle ride. Luckily, I don't ride fast enough to get wind chill.

I forgot how cool it is there in the summer. This time of year we can get down to the mid 50s sometimes at night with the Delta breeze, but 52F would be quite low. Cooler days have a high in the upper 80s, but it has been varying between around 90 and low 100s. Today about 92F, tomorrow forecasted 97.

True...but that was this morning before the Sun had come up over my mountain. We got into the low 70s today but now that the Sun is lower (~2 hours to sunset) and we’re in the shade again, it has dropped to 67°F but it feels a little cooler.
